Vision
Ensure a dynamic workforce by fully developing every student's career and academic potential.
Mission
Prepare students for continuous learning and workforce success.
The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department of PVSchools hosts a wide range of programs which provide students the rigor and relevance needed to succeed in today's global economy. Students are presented with opportunities to develop specialized skills while in high school and apply their academic knowledge in real world settings. Regardless of post-secondary plans, CTE provides all students with cutting edge training and opportunities in their chosen program of study.
CTE aligns its programmatic offerings to current, emerging and projected labor market needs. CTE is delivered through comprehensive programs of study aligned to the National Career Clusters framework. Relevant work-based learning opportunities and leadership development are incorporated into the program of study through career and technical student organizations (CTSOs).
Curriculum Supplemented by West-MEC
PVSchools partners with West-MEC (Western Maricopa Education Center) to offer advanced career training at various central campuses in the valley. To see a list of programs offered, please visit the West-MEC site or speak with a Guidance Counselor on your home campus.
